Exclamation Accident damage: temperature says 185!

Hi everyone. First time, long time...

I've got a 2015 and was recently in an accident. I managed to repair most of the damage myself, but I'm having trouble with a sensor. Here are the symptoms:

- The dashboard temperature reads 185
- Sometimes the car says 'too cold to start' on my first push
- Sometimes the engine revs up high on ignition and won't stop
- The air conditioning doesn't get cold

Thoughts?

I'm thinking it's the ambient temperature sensor causing most of the above problems. HOWEVER, I'm not sure where the sensor is even located, much less determine whether I can fix it myself.

Absolutely any help will be greatly appreciated. Feel free to text me as well at 952-393-2974.

Thanks everyone!

Jay
