Default front lower control arm fix?

2012 200 convertible hardtop, front end noise, I think I narrowed it down to lower control arm play, under some pressure I can take a flat screwdriver and move the part with the rubber bushing, (housing) up and down until it touches the frame...I know it should tilt up and down but the whole things is bumping frame. That can't be right, right? It should stay in the middle of bushing and flex up and down not completely move...right? anyone have this happen and how did it get fix... I'm thinking lower arm swap, what's your take? thanks!!
